Nassau Sunrise Rotary Reading Fair

TimeWorks sponsored 20 residents of the Children's Emergency Hostel to attend Nassau Sunrise Rotary's annual Reading Fair, which promotes literacy at every level. The Lyford Cay Foundations also donated 100 books for a book report contest organised as part of the event.
In addition to hearing stories from a number of children's books, the youngsters enjoyed lunch, a bouncy castle, group games and entertainment by costumed characters.
Thank you to TimeWorks Committee member Nancy McDonald, founder of ReadBahamas.org, for providing books, and to Majestic Tours for transporting the youngsters to the event and back free of charge.
