A Special Outing for Members of Our Senior Community

TimeWorks volunteers accompanied residents of the Persis Rodgers Home for the Aged, the Soldier Road Group Home and the Naomi Christie Home for Older Persons on a trip to the Ardastra Gardens Zoo and Conservation Centre.
This was a very special day during which we all enjoyed a tour of the gardens, the flamingo show and a picnic lunch under the shade of the trees.
Many thanks to our corporate sponsors: Majestic Tours for transporting the seniors to Ardastra and back, Kentucky Fried Chicken for donating the delicious lunch, Paradise Bottling, Polar Ice and Bristol Cellars Wine & Spirits for giving us cool drinks and ice, and of course Norman Solomon and the staff of Ardastra Gardens for their generosity and the great kindness they showed us throughout the day.
